CAASTL will be studying the seventeen sustainable development goals adopted by the United Nations in September 2015 as a blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all. They address the global challenges we face, including those related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, peace and justice. Our focus will be on the following goals:
- Goal 5 – Gender Equality
- Goal 6 – Clean Water and Sanitation
- Goal 8 – Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
- Goal 16 – Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for 9th - 12th graders! CAASTL Civic Ambassadors will have the chance to visit the Boeing Company, the Federal Reserve of St. Louis, St. Louis Water Treatment Plant and the Missouri State Capitol.
