We are happy to announce that Vision for Children at Risk will offer a Parent Cafe Training Institute to Network coalition members. The training is scheduled for 9:00am-4:30pm on Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27 at Deaconess Center for Child Well-Being (1000 N Vandeventer Ave., 63113).

The training prepares parents and providers to conduct Parent Cafes and serve as table hosts. Each organization attending must bring a team of parents and staff to this training.

Each parent (not employees) will receive a $200 stipend, upon completion of the two-day training. This stipend is to cover their time and child care, that is why child care will not be provided at this event. Parents must complete both days to be eligible for the $200. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
